Description2013 Gibson ES-335 TD Rusty Anderson model guitar, serial number RA 156, in natural figured maple. In original hardshell case.

Rusty Anderson (b. 1959) is an American guitarist who is best known as the lead guitarist for Paul McCartney's touring band since 2001. Prior to working with McCartney, Anderson played with several other artists including The Police, Van Halen, Quiet Riot, and Elton John, and several others. He has also released music as a solo artist and with his band Rusty Anderson Afternoon.

The ES-335 was first manufactured by Gibson in 1958, as part of the Electric Spanish (ES) series of guitars. The ES-335 was a response to Gibson's recently released solid body line of electric guitars sold under the Les Paul name. The ES-335 combined the warm tone of previous semi-hollow body models with the sustain and low feedback of a solid body guitar. The ES-335 became a best-seller for its flexibility of style, where it was used in blues, jazz, and rock and roll. This guitar is referred to as an ES-335TD model, with the "T" representing thinline construction and "D" noting it as having a double-pickup design.
