Description2013 Gibson SG Jeff Tweedy Signature Model, serial number 100431362, in Pelham Blue finish. The guitar features a mahogany body, mahogany neck, and rosewood fretboard. It has a Tune-o-Matic bridge with a maestro vibrola tailpiece. In its original hardshell case.Jeff Tweedy (b. 1967) is an American guitarist, singer, songwriter, author, and producer best known as one of the founding members of the rock band Wilco. Tweedy began his musical career as a member of Uncle Tupelo, a country rock band he started with high school classmate Jay Farrar in 1987. Uncle Tupelo broke up in 1994, and Farrar left to form Son Volt. Tweedy started Wilco in 1995, and with several lineup changes the band continues to record and tour nearly three decades later. Wilco's breakthrough album came with 2001's Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, which sold over 500,000 copies and was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America. Tweedy has collaborated with several artists outside of Wilco, including Billy Bragg, Mavis Staples, Jim O'Rourke, and his son Spencer Tweedy.
