Description2003 C.F. Martin & Co. HDN Negative limited edition guitar, serial number 917921 with limitation number 13/135, in ebony with white pickguard. The guitar features an HD28 body with Style 45 rosettes, herringbone top inlay, and zig-zag back purfling. It has a mahogany neck and white Micarta fretboard, with abalone pearl Style 45 snowflake inlays. The white Micarta overlay headstock has abalone pearl torch inlays. The guitar's interior label signed by C.F. Martin IV and Dick Boak. In an original hardshell case.Sold from 2002 to 2003, the Martin HDN Negative guitars flipped the traditional look of acoustic instruments - with a black body and white appointments. Only 135 HDN guitars were made by Martin during their short production run.
