Description2004 Gretsch Custom Shop 6120 "Red Baron" guitar and matching amp, serial number CF410, in custom hot rod finish. The guitar and amp feature a custom hot rod paint job by Sara Ray, of the Barris custom car family. Ray spent three months researching and painting the guitar which involved travelling to London to visit the Imperial War Museum and consulting with militaria experts to ensure the accuracy of the paint job. The customized 6120 also features a horseshoe inlay in headstock with the number "1" as this is a one of one unique instrument, with hump block fingerboard inlays, artist's signature on banner at the heel and a Cadillac tailpiece. The matching amplifier was also painted by Ray and features the German Imperial Eagle heraldic symbol appropriate to the time of ace German fighter pilot Manfred Von Richthofen, aka the Red Baron.
