DescriptionA c. 2014-2015 Ibanez Paul Stanley PS1-CM Signature Series "Cracked Mirror" Prototype electric guitar, maple top with silver Cracked Mirror finish. In hardshell case.

The PS1-CM was made by Sugi Musical Instruments in Japan for Ibanez. The guitar features the body style of the iconic Ibanez Iceman with maple top covered in cracked acrylic mirror. This model, labeled "Prototype 3" on the back of the headstock, features a rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays rather than the mahogany fingerboard with abalone split block markers on the final model and no 20th fret signature inlay. This prototype has solid black purfling, a stop tailpiece, plain black truss rod cover, two volume control knobs, micarta nut, no pickguard, and different tuning machine heads and knobs than the final release. The prototype features different neck pickup than the final release as well with a Seymour Duncan Allan Holdsworth AH-1 humbucker and a Seymour Duncan SH-5 at the bridge position. This guitar has also been signed in yellow paint pen across the entire back of the guitar by Stanley.

Paul Stanley (b. 1952) is an American musician who is a co-founder and rhythm guitar player for the band KISS. Known for their face paint and elaborate outfits, KISS were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014.
