Description1955 Gretsch 6130 Roundup, serial number 13158, in knotty pine with "Western" orange stain finish. The guitar features a single cutaway Mahogany body with bound knotty pine top with one prominent knot on just above the bridge pickup, "G" brand on the lower bout, tooled leather side trim, pearl block inlay with engraved western motif, peghead with steer's head logo inlay, "G" logo trapeze tailpiece with western motif belt buckle, raised tortoise pickguard with engraved steer's head, two exposed DeArmond pickups, and gold hardware. In an original hemp case.

Gretsch produced the 6130 Roundup from 1953-1957, aiming to capture more of the country music market with its Western appointments. Gretsch simultaneously produced the 6121 Chet Atkins line of guitars, with the main difference being a maple top on the 6121 versus the Roundup's pine top. Original Roundup purchases also came with a rhinestone encrusted leather strap.
