Description2001 C.F. Martin & Co. D-50 Deluxe limited edition guitar, serial number 835451 with limitation number 8/50, in natural polished gloss finish. The guitar features dreadnought 14-fret style body, solid Sitka spruce with heavy bearclaw, CITES certified select Brazilian rosewood back and sides, floral pattern abalone inlays no the bottom, top, sides and around neck joint, mahogany neck, custom abalone Tree of Life inlay bordered in mother of pearl, solid Brazilian rosewood headstock overlay with abalone pearl bordering and Tree of Life mother of pearl inlays, abalone pear mother of pearl Tree of Life inlay on pickguard, fossil ivory bridge pins with star sapphire dots bordered in 14 karat gold. The inlay work on this limited edition guitar were made possible by the use of the CNC computer system at Larry Sifel's Pearl Works. This innovative system used computers to precision cut the inlay pieces allowing such elaborate designs to be executed more quickly than inlays painstakingly cut by hand. In original special leather hardshell case with onboard humidity/temperature gauge included.
