DescriptionA poster signed by John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr, in blue ink. The poster announces that the Blenheim Lounge will be closed in the interest of public safety because the Beatles were scheduled to appear. The Beatles arrived at the airport to attend the premiere of their film A Hard Day's Night (1964) and gave a press conference at the airport's Blenheim Lounge. The sign was originally mounted on hardwood but was later removed and mounted onto acid-free linen backing. Accompanied by an original photograph of The Beatles arriving at the airport, stamped "Epoque Limited" on verso.
