The First Day stamp is issued from Calcutta, India (now Kolkata). The envelope features a sketch of Albert Einstein at left with his name in Bengali and English below the sketch. The first day Einstein stamp is in the upper right corner. Stamped 14-3-79. Einstein's signature is displayed in small opening below envelope. Framed and matted with beige mat and gold frame.
