DescriptionAl Pacino’s personal, hand-annotated shooting script from the production of Brian del Palma’s crime drama Scarface. Pacino played Cuban immigrant Tony Montana, who made his way up the Miami crime scene to become a drug lord. This script was original gifted by Pacino to an assistant at his production company, Chal Productions.The 168-page script, credited to Oliver Stone, is labeled as “Third Draft” and is bound with metal fasteners between a black card cover. “Scarface” is embossed on the cover in gold-color lettering. Several pages feature annotations in Pacino’s handwriting, including line changes and phonetic spellings so that he could perfect his Cuban accent. Page 157 features the iconic “Say hello to my little friend” line.
The script is accompanied by a photo of Pacino as Tony Montana and a scrap of paper with a handwritten note, both of which were tucked into the pages upon acquisiton.
