Description2003 C.F. Martin & Co. John Mayer model OM-28 limited edition guitar, serial number 961456 with limitation number 16/404, in natural polished gloss finish with Vintage Toner top. The guitar features a spruce top with a rosewood back and sides. It has an ebony fretboard with small pearl dot inlays, 12th and 13th fret mother of pearl triangle with dot inlays, and 20th fret John Mayer signature inlay. There is sterling silver binding on the headstock and bridge edges and herringbone binding on the body. The guitar has Fishman Gold Plus Natural I electronics. Its interior label is signed by Mayer. In original hardshell case.

John Mayer (b. 1977) is an American guitarist, singer, and songwriter. His early solo work consisted of acoustic based soft rock before he transitioned into a more Americana sound. In 2015, Mayer joined with former Grateful Dead musicians Bob Weir, Mickey Hart, and Bill Kreutzmann to form the band Dead & Company. Dead & Company has toured extensively, performing mainly Grateful Dead covers.
