Jerry Garcia
Jerry Garcia was a founding member of the Grateful Dead, one of the most prolific touring bands of all time. Garcia was known for his technical playing ability and improvisational style, honed over more than 2,000 live performances with the Dead.
Garcia and his bandmates played an eclectic style of music under the umbrella of psychedelia, building a committed fanbase of “Deadheads” through word of mouth and the exchange of taped live performances.
